The daily programme was take place in Het hov wageningen and University of Wageningen ‘Forum Building’:

GENERAL FOCUS OF THE TRAINING PROGRAMME

Globally crops suffer losses caused by various pests having a negative impact on food security of farmers, communities and particularly fast expanding urban areas. In addition to food security there is an increased demand for food safety and food of better quality by the growing populations and international trade. The widespread dependence on chemical pesticides results in high economic and environmental costs. Increased environmental and public health awareness and the need to implement sustainable agricultural production systems tend to discourage the injudicious use of pesticides. IPM aims to minimise the use of chemical pesticides and to ensure an integration of various control measures in an informed manner without harmful effects on the environment and occupational and public health.

Researchers working with a wide range of crops around the world have proved the technical feasibility of IPM and significant successes have been achieved with specific pest problems. Generally IPM programmes combine several tactics into a multiple pest management strategy. Because of its complexity, however, IPM proved to be more difficult to apply on farms than simple chemical control techniques. IPM demands an understanding not only of the technical aspects of pest management, but also of all the possible effects of the various control measures on the farmer, the family’s household and livelihood. Participatory approaches to research, extension and development of IPM have proven to contribute to the success of IPM implementation at farmers’ level. A level playing field to support IPM is required through a conducive policy and institutional environment.

METHODOLOGY OF TRAINING PROGRAMME

The training is job-oriented and experience-based, therefore it is highly interactive: it provides participants with the opportunity to learn from a wealth of international experience available among themselves and the course facilitators. The topics will be addressed through lectures, exercises, field visits, case studies and personal and/or group assignments.

Excursions and field work enable comparison of own experiences with practices in the Netherlands, whereas group assignments facilitate exchange of knowledge and experiences between participants. The training programme Integrated Pest Management and food safety is composed of two components, being (i) Pesticides and food safety in IPM, and (ii) IPM policy and institutional innovations.

Pesticides and food safety in IPM

FOCUS OF THE COURSE PROGRAMME

Over the last decades, consumers have shown a growing concern about the safety and quality of their food, particularly those living in the North, where the main share of the consumption takes place. The public and private sectors in the North have quickly responded to this concern. Both government regulators (national and international) and private food retailing companies developed grades and standards for the production of food in order to meet requirements for food safety and quality. All horticultural producers must meet these criteria of safety and quality, if they want to sell their products in the international (northern) markets. These grades and standards lean heavily on IPM and Integrated Crop Management (ICM) and thus support in a way the development and implementation of sustainable agriculture practices. These grades and standards seem to create two interrelated problems. The quick response of various public and private sectors has led to a wide range of different standards, grades and certification schemes that hardly anyone can oversee. Finding the way in this standard jungle is both time consuming and cost increasing for all producers. However, this effect burdens most heavily on producers from developing countries, especially the small-scale producers. It becomes more and more difficult for them to gain or maintain international market access, as they need to meet the various food safety requirements at considerable costs and effort. In many countries in the South export horticulture is growing rapidly, but these grades and standards increasingly present a threat to export and thus to (small-scale) producers.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Long term:

  • To contribute to rural development in the South through the improved capacity of organizations and institutions to apply IPM and integrate food safety and quality grades and standards into sustainable agricultural / horticultural systems; and
  • To support market access to (international) markets of small-scale producers, particularly of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Specific objectives:

Participants of this course update and strengthen their knowledge, insight and skills on:

  • Food chains and the role of primary production in achieving food safety;
  • Public and private food safety and quality grades and standards in the food chain and the roles of the different stakeholders; and
  • Implications for implementation of IPM, Integrated Crop Management / Good Agricultural Practices for small-scale producers.

IPM policy and institutional innovations

FOCUS OF THE COURSE PROGRAMME

Appropriate implementation of Good Agricultural Practices and IPM for food safety and international market access requires a conducive environment of supportive and enabling policies and institutions. This can be achieved through multi-stakeholder processes (MSP) with the aim to enable IPM and/or pesticide-related policies and supportive institutional innovations.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Long term:

  • To contribute to rural development in the South through the improved capacity of organizations and institutions to apply IPM and integrate food safety and quality grades and standards into sustainable agricultural / horticultural syste
  • To support development of IPM policies and institutional innovation

Specific objectives:

Participants of this course will update and strengthen their knowledge, insight and skills on:

  • The roles of stakeholders in IPM policy development and institutional innovations through the use of multi-stakeholder processes (MSP):
  • The roles of stakeholders in supporting the implementation of IPM and sustainable agriculture through the use of MSP;
  • Levels of participation relevant for IPM policies and institutional innovations;
  • Options for supportive IPM policies and institutional requirements; and the formulation of recommendations for improving the effectiveness and impact of IPM policies, instruments, institutions and implementation practices in the respective countries and in the own working situation

In the sixth day we got the lectures about plant clinics. Plant clinics was provided by the government or private company to diagnose all the problems which is faced by the farmers. We also got the lectures about IPM policy in the Netherland also using of the Biological control in IPM. Biological control is a good method to control plant pest and disease.

In the seventh day also we got the lectures about MRLs. MRLs is a minimum residue level which can be exsist in the agricultural product. In the ninth day, we went to the Warmonderhof to know the Biodynamic Agriculture. We learnt how that system made so sustainable. The system was made by the farmers who provide the product from the farm to fork. The Biodynamic Agriculture  is integrated system that provide health  product. The farm mainly use less pesticide, they use their own manure. They produce input  like manure from its farm.

In the tenth day we discussed about yesterday session in Flavoland. We learnt all about Biodynamic Agriculture. Then in the afternoon session we got the lectures about interview techniques. The lectures allowed us to know how to make a good questions for interviewer. The interview techniques made us easier to preparing the excursion to the rural area next week.

In the eleventh day, we went to the Amsterdam. We went to the Zaanse Schans to see the traditional windmills. In Zaanse Schans we also see the klopen shoes made. The klopen shoes is a traditional shoes from fresh wood. We also see how the cheese was made. We tasted many kind of cheese, original cheese, pepper cheese, goat ceas etc.

In the 16th day we went to the Wageningen again and back to our giant group. We discussec about what we learnt along three days in the rural area. Each group made a report and then we collect the report and make the conclusion.

In the last day each group presentate the result of the report. The Ministry staff came to the presentation session and see us. The ministry staff gather with the other government heard all of the things we suggest to them. We discuss about what things that could improve the agricultural sector in the Netherland. Last but not least, we had closing ceremony in the end of the day. Also we took photograph together.

Hai I’m Lutfi Afifah, I am alumni of Bogor Agricultural University majoring in Entomology Department. Departure to the Netherland Europe it’s a miracle for me. I never imagine it become true.😀 I got the Netherland Fellowship Program “NFP” on behalf Nuffic Neso during my transition time (gap time before getting work). I applied this fellowship on October 2015 when I was working in laboratory helping my best supervisor of life “Dr. Purnama Hidayat M.Sc” and last January 7th 2016 was the time announcement of this fellowship. I got this fellowship from the recommendation of my former supervisor Dr. Purnama Hidayat M.Sc. Now I am having travel from Soetta (Jakarta) to Istanbul (Turkey) and Istanbul (Turkey) to Schipol (Amsterdam).

Fortunately the Dean of Agriculture Faculty in Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang Unsika”, Dr. Sulistyo Sidik Purnomo, M.Si, head Department of Agrotechnology gave me permission to take this opportunity.  Also I got the Exit Permit dari Rector of Unsika. Recently Unsika have been changed from Private University into Public University. Unsika have being a Private University about 33 years and then being a Public University recently (about 2 years). Leaving my students for a temporary time. I am glad that in this time, in Unsika already finished the semester and I just finished my duty for lecturing.

Have a great time here since my family allow me to travel to Europe. They fully support me in whatever I do! As long as it good, they will support and they pray for me and for my lil for the future life.  Miles away from home, parents, little sissy Zulfa, and all of my working partner it gonna be so challenging!

One fine day in the beginning of October 2015, my classmates Mahardika Puspitasari sent me a private message “Pi pi… Ga mau ikutan course ke Belanda?” and of course “Mau mbak” I was replied. Then she gave me the information about the fellowship NFP. The fellowship deadline is a different in each course. So please be aware! Read the Course Calendar carefully! In this course the deadline is 20 October 2015 and the Fellowship announcement is about 22 December 2015. But the announcement was coming a bit late, it coming up on January 2016.

The NFP fellowship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the budget for development cooperation. The fellowship is meant as a compensation of the costs involved in participating in a short course organised by the Centre for Development Innovation (CDI), Wageningen UR. Please be aware that the NFP fellowship is not a full coverage of all costs involved. The fellowship is composed of the following:

  1. Tuition fee for the short course which is € 3,990
  2. Full board and lodging at hotel ‘het Hof van Wageningen’ (arranged by CDI)
  3. International travel (arranged by CDI) i.e. only international air flight

  1. Airport tax duties (if applicable)
  2. AON health insurance (arranged by CDI)
  3. Study allowance: € 30,-
  4. Compensation in costs involved in obtaining a VISA: € 30,-

The compensation for Study allowance and VISA (2 x € 30,-) will not be paid in cash, but will be used as a deposit for a tablet which serves a learning tool during the course. After the course has ended, the participant can choose to keep the tablet, or return it (in good condition) and receive the € 60,- deposit.

The following costs are not covered by the fellowship:

  1. Local travel in home country and in the Netherlands; Amsterdam Airport to Wageningen (2x €18,- for public transport)
  2. Any personal expenses

Entering the the Netherlands require a visa, preferably a “Schengen” visa. Actually this visa can allow to enter in many country of Europe. That country include (Austria, Belgium, Czech republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Liechtenstein).

Here I give you a brief step to enroll the course and the fellowship. Here is the step:

At least you have good enough score in ITP or IELTS.

  1. Make an CDI account in Wageningen University website

After filling out the form you will get a confirmation via email and you will get an url to cofirm the CDI account

You need to make an account in that course. Click “Apply here” to filling out the course form. Then you will get an confirmation email.

  1. Get a letter of admission to the course via email

In this admission letter you will get the further procedure to apply the NFP fellowship and also get a reference number. Please write out your reference number to the online NFP via ATLAS website.

  1. Prepare the document needed in ATLAS online application form
  • Employers statement

In this letter you have to be member of organization which in governmental organization or non governmental organization. Please be aware that you are the employers. Your employment statement should be on official letterhead, dated, be signed by employer, be stamped, have the plan to implement the newly acquired knowledge by the candidate, data about the candidate who is nominated, relevance of the short course (for candidate and for employing organisation, and plan of activities.

  • Government statement

Indonesian citizen doesn’t need this letter. So don’t worry.

Hello February, it been a new year! New hope, new spirit. How are you guys? Hope everyting will be okay.

Talking about 2016, it really the greatest year ever. I’ve been accepted in Public University in Karawang namely “Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang”. Sometime called “Unsika”. This university actually was build in 1982 and being a Private University along 33 years. Now Unsika have been changed from Private university into Public University in 2014. Do not compare this university with other upstanding university like IPB and UGM. Now Unsika have been search for “its own identity”. Nowadays Unsika has the new procedure to enter the University, that is through SNMPTN. It’s quite hard since they should fight with the test to pass the exam. Since only  approx. 120 students could enter the Department of Agrotechnology. It will be so challenging for us to handle them.

I’m entered Unsika about 4.5 months ago, since October 2015. Together with new comers: 2 people titled M.Sc, 3 people titled M.Si, and 1 person titled M.P. The 6 newcomers isn’t merried yet, but 2 peoples getting married soon (on April). Here I felt so happy, everything was new. Everything so challenging.

This semester I taught 3 subjects:

  1. Dasar Penyuluhan dan Komunikasi [MBB 2303]
  2. Dasar Teknologi Budidaya Tanaman Pangan [MKB 4301]
  3. Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (Penyakit) [MKB 4310]

The first one is my subject dream. Although it little bit hard for me to study “Ilmu Penyuluhan”. I never been taking those subject while the bachelor. I only took Communication. But nothing impossible. I’ll study more about that subject.

Then the upcoming semester (Odd Semester) I will teach in the following subjects:

  1. Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (Hama) [MKB 3309]
  2. Pengelolaan Hama Terpadu [MPB 7301]
  3. Pengantar Ilmu Pertanian [MKK 1209]

Recently Faculty of Agriculture Unsika have been signed MOU with the KABUSHIKI KAISHA SHIMOTA NOUGEI Co., Ltd in Ibaraki Japan. This MOU contain the cooperation for exchange the students. Hope so do with the staff mobility. So I can go to Japan again. Amin.

The second one in January. I was being an awardee for the fellowship/scholarship in Wageningen University, Netherland, Europe. I got the fellowship from NFP, financed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was unbelievable!. Insyaallah I will come to Europe next spring May 2016. Hope everything will be alright. Now I’m preparing the “Schengen Visa ”. It’s a Visa to enter Europe. Wish me luck. Hope I will get the permission letter from Agrotechnology Department and also from Rector of Unsika.

Dalam bulan Januari ini saya telah menerima surat ajaib “LoA= Letter of Admission dari salah satu Universitas di Belanda yang mana Life Sciences nya no 1 di Eropa, University of Wageningen. Kadang senyum-senyum sendiri melihat LoA yang sudah saya print dari printer di kantor (printer saya catridge nya minta diganti). Buat persiapan ngurus Visa hehe. Di bulan Januari ini adalah masa libur mahasiswa, jadi dosen nya nyantai aja menunggu semester baru sambil mempersiapkan materi kuliah.

Kebanyakan datang ke kantor (re: kampus) dari pagi dan pulang sehabis magrib atau seringnya sih menjelang magrib. Duduk anteng di kantor sambal berselancar di dunia maya khususnya membaca postingan-postingan para Short Course Awardee baik yang didanai Nuffic Neso, NFP, Stuned, atau beasiswa Belanda lainnya. Sesekali diminta Kaprodi untuk membuat SK Mengajar untuk Semester Genap. Well it’s not that hard!

Baca postingan para awardee kadang bikin ketawa sendiri. Melihat kerempongan mereka yang juga saya alami saat ini. Kegelisahan dimulai pada bulan Desember 2015, menunggu kepastian dari CDI Wageningen. CDI Wageningen adalah lembaga yang mengurus Short Course, lembaga ini di bawah Wageningen University. Tidak ada niatan satupun untuk menanyakan hasil pengumuman, hanya saja saya pernah nanya via twitter CDI @cdiwageniningenUR hehe. Kegelisahan tentang pengumuman beasiswa NFP yang saya apply akhirnya sirna sudah. Sekitar tanggal 6 Januari 2016 datang email dari Belanda.

Didalam file .pdf yang dilampirkan, saya dinyatakan diterima sebagai penerima fellowship/scholarship. Saya diminta menunggu sekitar 10 hari lagi dan kemudian CDI Wageningen akan mengirimkan LoA resminya. Saya kemudian menunggu sampai 10 hari kedepan tapi belum juga ada email masuk. Hahahaa.. Hebohnya saya sudah memberitahu kabar baik ini dengan orang terdekat di rumah via telfon. Saya telfon ke rumah dan ayah saya mengangkat yang intinya bilang kalau “Alhamdulillah semoga semuanya lancar”. Selain itu saya memberitahu teman-teman terdekat saya dan juga pembimbing saya dulu (Bismillah aja semoga ga ada kendala yang berarti).

Kegelisahan demi kegelisahan semakin mendera, datang lagi email dari Belanda yang intinya mengucapkan selamat atas terpilihnya sebagai awardee dan langkah yang harus dilakukan. Di dalam email itu saya diharuskan memberikan konfirmasi balik ke pihak CDI Wageningen apakah akan menerima atau menolak fellowship yang telah diberikan.

Kali ini saya langsung memberikan konfirmasi untuk menerima Fellowship. Saya menerima fellowship dan segala ketentuannya. Sampai saat ini saya pun menunggu kepastian kenapa belum ada email lagi ya dari Mr. Fanny Vanbijsteren (saya sudah bisa menulis namanya hehee). Apakah email konfirmasi saya tidak sampai ke inbox mereka? (pikiran buruk melanda hehe). Ditambah lagi pernah baca postingan seorang blogger yang juga dapat NFP Fellowship dari KIT. Beliau diberi waktu untuk mengirimkan konfirmasi beasiswa, namun alhasil lewat akun yahoomail email konfirmasi tersebut tidak sampai. Aduhhh… (tambah parno lagi). Ga lucu kan gagal dapat fellowship gara gara email konfirmasi ga nyampek? Hahaha Alhasil saya mengirim konfirmasi dua kali, satu ke email training CDI dan satunya lagi ke Mr. Fanny Vanbijsteren. Semoga email konfirmasi yang saya kirim, aman sampai ke Wageningen yaaa. Aminn

Sampai saat ini saya sedang menunggu email balasan dari Mr. Fanny Vanbijsteren semoga sesegera mungkin saya akan dikirimi 3 surat penting yaitu: Aircraft e-ticket, Insurance certificate, dan Hotel Confirmation Letter. Tiga surat penting tersebut menjadi bekal saya untuk mendaftarkan Visa Schengen, visa untuk masuk ke Benua Eropa.

Disaat saya sedang menulis postingan ini, tidak lama kemudian saya mendapatkan email konfirmasi kembali dari Mr. Fanny Vanbijsteren. Tepatnya sekitar pukul 20.00 an malam, disaat saya sedang mengajar les anak-anak di Teluk Jambe Karawang. Email saya baca sekilas dan saya melanjutkan mengajar Bahasa Inggris. Seusai les berakhir saya baca benar-benar email tersebut. Dan surprisingly saya mengenal salah satu participant yang lolos fellowship namanya Vani Nur Octaviany. Yes, she is my senior in Entomology and we have the same supervisor. That is Dr. Purnama Hidayat M.Sc.

Wow amazing, the world is small. We accidently meet in this course without anything known before. Jauh jauh ke Belanda ketemu nya sama anak Ento juga hehe. Sama dengan jodoh kali ya, udah pergi jauh-jauh eh ketemunya sama yang dekat juga (who knows yaa..) #gausahbaper hahahaa. Urusan jodoh udah ada di Lauhul Mahfuz. Semoga tahun ini udah bisa ganti status yaa dari status lajang. Siapa tau nanti bisa S3 bareng di Wageningen atau Goettingen. Having many children there and live temporary in Europe (who knows yaa). Selama kita mau berusaha dan berdoa apasih yang tidak mungkin?

On a fine day, it was Ramadan month. A month that moslem have to do fasting for a month. Ramadhan 2011 I spent my whole month in Bogor because of the undergraduate research. It was about the enthomopathogenic fungi Lecanicillium lecanii. I went home about a week before Eid Mubarak and sadly I have to back to Bogor in the 3 rd day of Eid Mubarak. My fungi in lab need to be treated in the beginning of Eid Mubarak. Hiks…

I still remember in Ramadhan 2012 when I was in Jakarta. In a full Ramadhan I spent my time in Jakarta because at that time I still work. Then in Eid Mubarak 2012, it was the hardest time since I can’t go home. I didn’t get permit to take furlough. Then I spent my Eid Mubarak Idul Fitri alone in Bogor, in a fine house located in Babakan Tengah, Dramaga.

Different year different stories. Ramadhan 2013, I spent the whole time in Ngale, Ngawi, East Java. Eventhough my home quiet near from Ngawi but I can’t go home. It was because of the field observation. Enduring the hard time and the bored time there. Three month apart in small village with limited acseess. But all of that have been passed. Im blessed.

Ramadhan 2014, I still remember how’s the feel. Flustered! Really remember but its okay. In that month Im busy with the data of thesis research. I still study how to use the program. But the point isn’t the data but the feels. Flustered! Only if the small mosque in front of my kost can speak so they can talk clearly what happened in that month. Don’t worry it just flustered feel and just positive thinking all gonna be alright. As long as we do good and pray. No need to worry.

Time flies really fast, now Im in Ramadhan 2015. In this Ramadhan im not student anymore and just being alumni. I passed all of the master degree requirement. I had a temporary job helping my supervisor doing so many things that he can’t handle. I had my own income because of that. I felt save. Actually I already submit on many universities in East Java and Central Java, but don’t know yet the final result. Actually some of the universities call on me for the interview test but I don’t think its for my chances. The administrativ make that hard. Now there is on going process in one of the public university in West Java. Don’t know yet, its my chance or not. But at least I already tried. The work world isn’t comfort enough. I ever feel the same feeling when I look for a job after completing my bachelor. New place, new people, new job wont ever comfort enough to stay. But there is a New Hope.

This Ramadhan also feels so colorful since I felt that in Ramadhan all of the activity (teratur). From getting up, eat sahur, break fasting, tarawih, and so on. Everything goes in the right time. In this month I also got so many break fasting invitation. I am happy to see all of them. Seeing each other it mean togetherness. I am happy be apart of them.

Ok, that was my 5 years experiences in Ramadhan Kareem. Each year each story. Feel blessed if I can make better person day by day. Improving the relationship with God. Because only hang the hope to God I can feel comfort. Cant wait to see the family in hometown who made me laugh everytime I talked to them, especially my father. Thanks for bringing the joy and laugh for me… Mother that always ask to me the go home time and the sister that ask me to go home early because she want me to treat her with some yummy food like rica-rica menthok and nasi goreng gila deket alun-alun.

Hope we will meet in the next Ramadhan Kareem. Lets be a better person day by day ^^

Have you ever went to the hospital to see your relatives that hospitalize? How do you feel? Thousand of feeling. I still remember a day in 2012 when I was in Daan Mogot, Jakarta. I have a senior that her father hospitalize in a Cancer Hospital in West Jakarta near Taman Anggrek Mall. In the evening around 3 pm I went to the hospital. I was alone from my kos-kosan in Daan Mogot. Thousand of feeling at that time. I felt so deep sad with her story about her father. At that time she was single (not marriage yet) and her father told to her that he want to see her beloved daughter for getting marriage. At that time she still finish her master thesis and unfinished yet. She told me that her mother working so hard for her. In fact she has two brother and sister. For several years her mother caring them so good.

Back to the story, I was riding the Trans Jakarta bus and stop right in front of the hospital. I still remember how is the condition in that hospital. I passed the room for the children who get a cancer. I felt so sad. Then I enter one of the room to meet her family. One thing that I could see there, her father. Her father laying on a bed. There are so many modern tools that installeId on his body. He cant speak anymore. I was dropping some of the tears. I just imagine if that is my father. Father that in his life just caring about his family and his society. I felt so bad. And then I see her mother, who caring so patiently. I felt her mother so tough with her life. She should work hard for their life also for health expanses.

A women that have the strengness for her family. A wife that very love with her husband till the end of his life. Today 22 june, there is our lab member that hospitalize and I was there for her. She was sick and her husband and her daughter was around her to give support. I hope she will get well soon.

So many lesson I got from seeing them. Being women have to be independent. For example if we are getting marriage and then we have husband and children, then someday we don’t know what is going on in the future. May be our beloved husband is getting sick and need to be hospitalize. In fact when he is sick he couldn’t work and ……. (you can imagine what I think). I hope it never happen to me in the future. Just being positive that He is creating good future for us. So from now let be friendly in our healthiness. Just care with your own body. Care what you eat. Care with your self, your family, your wife to be or husband to be, or others. Please eat well, please live well.🙂

Impian

“Berjuanglah untuk menggapainya dengan sepenuh hati”

Suatu ketika di sela-sela aktivitas saya membantu dosen pembimbing saya menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan, saya sempat membuka beranda facebook. Ada suatu hal yang menarik bagi saya adalah salah satu teman saya Mbak Manik alumnus IPB dan juga alumnus University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa Jepang. Ada foto hasil tag-an wisuda master yang di tag oleh teman mbak Manik namanya unik “Jingga”. Dari foto tersebut saya melihat-lihat foto lain yaitu foto mbak Jingga. Rupanya mbak jingga ini telah wisuda tahun lalu dari Okinawa, sayang kami belum sempat bertemu. Mbak Jingga ini adalah alumnus Undip dan juga alumnus University of the Ryukyus. Saya melihat semangat yang luar biasa dari diri mereka. Belajar, kuliah, tugas, teman, dosen, administratif semuanya menjadi suatu rangkaian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari proses kelulusan. Proses yang lama hingga suatu saat ketika sang mahasiswa tersebut lulus maka akan menjadi pribadi yang cerdas, terpelajar, santun, dan nantinya lebih mantap menyongsong masa depan (kehidupan pasca kampus). Hal-hal ‘sepele’ dari kehidupan kampus misalnya diskusi, berkonsultasi dengan dosen, cara kita bergaul dengan teman kita, sahabat kita, ataupun orang-orang disekitar kita secara tidak langsung sedikit-sedikit akan membentuk karakter kita.

Hal yang lebih menarik lagi bagi saya adalah melihat profil dari mbak Jingga ini, ada salah satu nama yang sangat familiar dan juga sudah saling kenal. Beliau adalah Danang Ambar P. (Alumnus IPB 41 yang menjadi Mapres IPB dan juga Mapres tingkat Nasional) yang sekarang sedang menyelesaikan studi Doktor nya di University of the Ryukyus. Dalam Profil mbak Jingga ini, mbak jingga memposting video yang mas Danang buat. Video yang sangat sederhana tapi membuat semangat saya lebih berkibar. Dalam video berdurasi sekitar 7 menit itu, beliau berkata bahwa mimpi itu adalah harapan. Mimpi tersebut harus ditulis karena jika tidak maka mimpi tersebut hanya akan jadi angan-angan. Karena pada dasarnya kita adalah pelupa, sangat mungkin jika kita lupa akan mimpi kita sendiri. Mas Danang yang juga menyebut dirinya sebagai ‘sang pembuat jejak’ itu juga berkata bahwa sejak dulu beliau telah membuat setidaknya ada 100 target impian, dan beliau menulis dalam beberapa lembar kertas dan ditempelnya di kamar ataupun di tempat-tempat lain. Terkadang memang kita malu apabila impian-impian kita tersebut dibaca oleh orang lain dan ketika mereka membaca mungkin ada yang sekedar senyum atau malahan tertawa karena impian kita ketinggian. Sebenarnya dalam konteks ini saya kurang setuju dengan opini orang lain yang terkadang berkata bahwa “Kalau bermimpi jangan ketinggian nanti kalau tidak kesampean kecewa’. Siapa yang tau suatu saat nanti semua list impian kita satu persatu akan kita coret? Hehe… Toh kalaupun belum bisa tercapai setidaknya kita sudah berusaha sebaik mungkin, yaa kan?? Jadi ya…. No Worry, Be positive and happy! J . Yakin aja semua itu proses pembelajaran yang akan membuat kita menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Berikut video yang mas Dangan buat. Cekidot!

Saat ini pun saya jadi terinspirasi merombak ulang list plan saya. Di kamar saya sebenarnya sudah ada white board dimana saya membaginya menjadi 3 bagian yaitu: Short term plan, Long term plan, dan Jangan lupa. Di bagian Short term ini merupakan impian dalam waktu dekat ini dan long term plan merupakan impian di masa mendatang, sedangkan jangan lupa merupakan bagian wajib yang harus saya kerjakan setiap harinya atau setiap minggunya termasuk olahraga. Namun saat ini saya jadi ingin merombaknya. Saya akan membuat 100 target impian saya. Membuatnya pun sepertinya juga tidak mudah. Butuh 1 minggu sepertinya untuk me-list harapan dan impian saya. Selain itu saya ingin membuat scrap book khusus untuk Impian-impian saya (baru rencana sih). Jadi sudahkah kalian tau impian kalian? Mari kita memulainya dari sekarang, mari membuat jejak!.
